When was the last time you celebrated something? Last month? Last week? Today?
Not important? What? Please read on, because you have to hear about the secret of the connection between celebration and getting what you want!
If you haven’t celebrated much in the past, you want to change this. With celebration I don’t mean reward here; reward as in going out for dinner or celebrating with friends or buying this new gadget. This is also important but here I want to focus firstly on any form of celebration you can do on your own or in public.
Why is this kind of celebration so important? And why is it one of the best kept secrets of successful people?
Let me explain.
1. When you celebrate something you focus on a positive and wanted result.
2. Celebration makes us feel good, even when the first attempt after a long period of avoidance might feel a little bit strange at first.
3. As it feels good we want it more often and therefore we create more wanted results which we then celebrate and without even knowing we have set a car in motion, which keeps going and going.
And there is more: do we get more enthusiastically out of bed in the morning when we look forward to something than on a same-old-same-old-day? Most people do. So just knowing that there will be celebrations during the day kick-starts us right from the beginning.
And wait there is more: following the thought concept of the film “The Secret” we tell the Universe with our celebrations and its positive energy what we want more of. And guess what the Universe answers? “Your wish is my command”.
So start celebrating and best is to start with the small stuff: a finished task, a positive call on the phone, time for a good cup of coffee, …..
When you are in business start celebrating everything. When you have employees start celebrating with them. When you have kids start celebrating with them. As a business coach I start my day with celebrating: the sun, the rain, my smile, ….
What could you have celebrated today?
